The brief

An imaginary glass-art atelier makes blown and fused pieces, one at a time. It wants to sell online, in France and across the EU, without turning each piece into a catalogue line.

The challenge

Every piece exists once. When it sells, it is gone. Buyers cannot pick it up, so the page has to answer size, weight, shipping and care. And a fragile object has to survive the post.

The approach

Collection.

One piece, one card. Each card shows the piece, a note from the maker and a plain "One made" marker, so scarcity is a fact and not a sales trick.

Product page.

Size, weight and care come before the buy button. Shipping cost and packaging are stated on the page, so the buyer never discovers them at checkout.

Cart and checkout.

Shipping, VAT and the total are shown before payment. Sold pieces stay visible, marked "Sold", with a link to similar work.

Design targets

  • Aim: every product page answers size, shipping and returns without leaving the page.

  • Aim: checkout on a single page, with the total visible throughout.

  • Aim: sold pieces keep their page, so the shop reads as an archive as well as a store.
